Cookie Policy

A fuller explanation of browser technologies, consent expectations, and minimal-storage design.

This policy describes the limited browser-side technologies Meetzo uses for essential functionality, security, diagnostics, preferences, and any future consent-managed tools.

What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Meetzo uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser-side technologies on the website and product interfaces. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy because these technologies can involve personal information depending on how they are used.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, browser identifiers, or other tools that remember state, support functionality, improve performance, or help protect a service from misuse.

Categories Meetzo may use

  • Strictly necessary technologies that keep the site operational, remember lightweight session state, route requests correctly, or maintain basic product continuity.
  • Security and fraud-prevention technologies that help detect abuse, bots, repeated harmful traffic patterns, or attempts to evade moderation controls.
  • Preference technologies that remember limited user choices such as whether a notice has been dismissed or which mode was selected recently.
  • Limited diagnostic or measurement technologies used to understand uptime, performance, browser compatibility, and aggregate service health.

Current product position

At present, Meetzo is designed to rely primarily on essential storage and limited product-health diagnostics rather than heavy advertising or behavioral tracking. We do not currently use cookie-driven targeted advertising as part of the core product experience.

If we later introduce non-essential analytics, personalization, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies in regions where consent is required, we will add any required consent controls before enabling those tools.

Session versus persistent storage

Some browser-side technologies may exist only for the length of a browser session, while others may persist for a limited period so the site can remember a lightweight preference, reduce fraud, or improve the experience on a return visit. We aim to keep durations proportionate to the purpose.

Third-party technologies

If Meetzo uses third-party hosting, security, measurement, or infrastructure services, some browser-side technologies may be set or accessed through those providers to support the service. We expect those uses to stay aligned with the purposes described in this policy and our Privacy Policy.

Global Privacy Control and similar signals

Meetzo does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes in a way that makes Global Privacy Control or similar signals relevant under applicable law, we will update our disclosures and practices accordingly.

Updates and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools, vendors, or legal obligations change. Questions can be sent to privacy@meetzo.app.
